Daniel Bodin, 25 (SWE)
A favorite entering WX '08, Bodin struggled. He suffered a concussion after a huge crash in practice and, though he recovered and made it to the bronze medal match, he crashed again and finished 4th. In 3/08, he finished 2nd at a sled freestyle comp in Jackson, WY, and in 4/08, he took 1st in a sled freestyle comp in Salen, Sweden. In addition to sleds, Bodin jumps dirtbikes at comps and demos across Europe. He often learns tricks on his dirtbike first before he does them on his sled. Daniel Bodin has one of the largest arsenals of tricks among his peers. Biggest stunts include Superflips, which he learned in summer '07, backflip heel-clicker, tsunami and holy grab. With his height (6'), his tricks are accentuated when he gets full extension. Can be smooth, but also tends to rush tricks, which causes problems and crashes.
