Kevin Rolland, 20 (FRA)

At 19, he is confirming all the good things the French snowboarding community has been saying about him since the start of his career, by becoming Junior World Champion in the Half Pipe. For his first appearance at the X Games, in 2008, he finished 3rd in qualifying before suffering an injury whilst warming up for the final. After another minor disappointment at the 2009 X Games where he finished 8th in the final, Kevin finally made his mark on the world scene by winning the World Cup and the Half Pipe World Championships. His promise: to put on a show at the X whilst mastering at least two new tricks: the alleyoop flat 360 and the switch double cork 360. He's coming back to France as a hero, after winning the gold medal at Winter X Games in Aspen on last January, 31st. Will he manage to repeat this performance in Tignes?
