Mathieu Crépel

Two victories in the World Cup (the first in Grenoble, the second in Bardonecchia), bronze in the 2009 Worlds in South Korea, all in the Half Pipe: the season began well for Mathieu Crépel. Until he fractured his second metatarsal and suffered twisted ankle ligaments whilst training in Japan on February 18th 2009. After a long recovery and months of intensive training to compensate for his injury, the Pyreneesnative says he's finally ready to attack the season. Whilst the Vancouver Olympics (his last) remain the number one objective of the season, the double World Champion 2007 (Half Pipe and Big Air) and 5th in the X Games 2007 in the Slopestyle, is more determined than ever to shine at this European first.
